NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS-
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners, Brown County; New Ulm, MN will accept sealed bids, at the Office of the County Administrator, in the Brown County Courthouse, New Ulm, MN. until 10:00 a.m. on the 12th day of June, 2024, for the following project(s):
S.A.P. 008-599-062 Bridge Replacement on 125th Street located 8 miles northwest of Comfrey.
Major quantities include: 48 LF Remove Pipe Culvert; 439 CY Common Excavation, 81 CY Common Embankment; 70 CY Aggregate Surfacing Class 5, 31 LF 10’ X 7’ Precast Concrete Box Culvert, 2 Each 10’ X 7’ Precast Concrete Box Culvert End Sections Type III, 530 CY Aggregate Backfill, 90 Ton Crushed Rock 1½” Minus, 25 Ton Riprap Class III; 105 LF Wire Fence Design Special; 1 LS Traffic Control; 40 LF Silt Fence Type Super Duty; 1 LS Turf Establishment and 585 SY Rolled Erosion Prevention. The nonrefundable plan and proposal price is $30.00 for a hard copy and $15.00 for a digital copy.

Plan, proposal and specifications can be examined and obtained from the Brown County Highway Department, 1901 N. Jefferson St., New Ulm, MN 56073, ph# 507-233-5700, or downloaded online at
https:/mn-co-brown.app.rtvision.com/oneoffice/bidding. A check, draft or money order in the amount listed above, and payable to the Brown County Treasurer must accompany requests for plans and proposal.

A bidder’s bond or a certified check payable to the Treasurer of Brown County in the amount of at least 5% of the total amount bid for each project must be included.
Brown County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
