NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS - Sealed proposals will be received until:

BID OPENING @ 10:00 AM Tuesday May 14th 2024

by the County Engineer on behalf of the Swift County Board of Commissioners, at the Swift County Highway Department Administration Building, 1635 Hoban Avenue (PO Box 241), Benson, MN 56215.

Sealed bids will be opened and publicly read at the above date/time/location, for the following construction project listed below:

State Aid Project No. SAP 076-606-049

Types of work: Culvert Replacements and Minor Grading

Length/Location: On CSAH 6 – from Swift CSAH 17 to MnTH 29 (8.974 Miles)

Combined Major Items:

• Excavation – Common 24,587 CuYd
• Common Embankment (CV) 18,519 CuYd
• Type SP 12.5 Bituminous Wear Course (2,B) 2,351 Ton
• Structure Excavation – Class U (P) 6,151 CuYd
• Granular Backfill 8,664 Ton

Anticipated Award Date: May 21st 2024

Starting Date: July 8th 2024

Completion: 30 Working Days

Copies of the Plan & Proposal are ONLY available via download, at no cost, with a ConneX account. Being listed as a “Plan Holder” is required to submit a valid bid. The downloading process, which involves filling out your company information, is the only way to meet this requirement. All parties downloading this information will be automatically added to the “Plan Holder” list. This process also ensures that a central contact list is accessible for future addenda. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check made payable to the Treasurer of Swift County, or a corporate surety bond made in favor of Swift County equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects.
