NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS - Sealed proposals will be received until:

BID OPENING @ 10:00 AM Tuesday April 30th 2024

by the County Engineer on behalf of the Swift County Board of Commissioners, at the Swift County Highway Department Administration Building, 1635 Hoban Avenue (PO Box 241), Benson, MN 56215.

Sealed bids will be opened and publicly read at the above date/time/location, for the following construction projects listed below:

2024 Swift County Gravel Processing


Major Item - Production and stockpiling of approximately 20,000 cubic yards of Class 5 Aggregate. Location of Processing to be done within Eastern Swift County.

This location can be found through a link in the CURRENT PROJECTS page of the Highway Department section of www.swiftcounty.com. OR, access can also be found searching Swift County in the MnDOT eAdvert website, then using the link provided in the on-line advertisement.

Copies of the Plan & Proposal are ONLY available via download, at no cost, with a ConneX account. Being listed as a “Plan Holder” is required to submit a valid bid. The downloading process, which involves filling out your company information, is the only way to meet this requirement. All parties downloading this information will be automatically added to the “Plan Holder” list. This process also ensures that a central contact list is accessible for future addenda. All contractors can also check at any time, who is on the “Plan Holder” list.

- COMPLETE PROPOSALS MUST BE PHYSICALLY RETURNED WHEN SUBMITTING BIDS -

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check made payable to the Treasurer of Swift County, or a corporate surety bond made in favor of Swift County equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects.
