NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS-
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners, Brown County; New Ulm, MN will accept sealed bids, at the Office of the County Administrator, in the Brown County Courthouse, New Ulm, MN. until 10:00 a.m. on the 1st day of May 2024, for the following project(s):

• S.A.P. 008-605-018 Bridge Repair on CSAH 5 located 0.4 miles south of TH 14.

Major quantities include: 1 LS Mobilization; 2660 SF Remove and Replace Bituminous Pavement; 730 Pounds Reinforcement Bars (Epoxy Coated); 1 LS Structure Excavation; 11 CY Structural Concrete (3Y42); 1 LS Structure Removals; 264 Each Grouted Reinforcement Bars; 10 Each Reposition Bearings; 1 LS Drainage System Type (B910); 42 CY Random Riprap Class III; 60 LF Concrete Curb & Gutter Design B618; 4 Each End Treatment-Tangent Terminal; 300 LF Traffic Barrier Design Type 31; 200 LF Traffic Barrier Design Transition Type 31; 1 LS Traffic Control; 200 LF Silt Fence, Type MS; 1 LS Turf Establishment; 110 SY Rolled Erosion Prevention Category 74; The nonrefundable plan and proposal price is $30.00 for a hard copy and $15.00 for a digital copy.

Plan, proposal and specifications can be examined and obtained from the Brown County Highway Department, 1901 N. Jefferson St., New Ulm, MN 56073, ph# 507-233-5700, or downloaded online at https:/mn-co-brown.app.rtvision.com/oneoffice/bidding. A check, draft or money order in the amount listed above, and payable to the Brown County Treasurer must accompany requests for plans and proposal.

A bidder’s bond or a certified check payable to the Treasurer of Brown County in the amount of at least 5% of the total amount bid must be included.

Brown County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
