Notice is hereby given that Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Slayton, Minnesota, until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the Slayton City Hall, 2424 26th Street, Slayton, MN 56172, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of the 28th Street Sidewalk Improvements project.

Major quantities for the Work include:

800 CU YD Common Excavation
18,150 SQ FT 6” Concrete Walk
800 SQ YD Turf Establishment

Minimum wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581 and implementing regulations.

Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with MnDOT 1208.

A Contractor responding to these Bidding Documents must submit to the Owner a signed statement under oath by an owner or officer verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3.

The City of Slayton reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City of Slayton.
