NOTICE TO BIDDERS:

Sealed proposals will be received by the City Council of the City of Fergus Falls, Minnesota at the City Engineer’s Office until 1:30 PM, local time, on the 26th Day of October, 2023, and will be opened and publicly read by representatives of the City in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at an open meeting on the above date at 1:30 PM, local time.

The project consists of the following public improvements:

SP 126-105-008 (NORTH BROADWAY)
SP 126-135-001 (RANDOLPH AVENUE)
Reconditioning of Municipal State Aid Streets 105 (North Broadway)
and 135 (Randolph Avenue)
Including Bituminous Milling and Surfacing, and ADA Improvements

Public Improvement No. 5327

The work shall be performed in accordance with the drawings and special provisions and consists of the following major items:

Mill Bituminous Surface (2”) 34544 Sq Yd
Bituminous Surfacing 4316 Ton
Concrete Walk 9103 Sq Ft
Concrete Curb and Gutter Design B618 1300 Lin Ft
Striping – Multi-Comp 13889 Lin Ft
Crosswalk Multi-Comp Ground In 3318 Sq Ft

Each bid must be accompanied by a money order, cash deposit, cashiers check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Fergus Falls, Minnesota in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. This is to serve as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract for the performance of such work if the Contract is awarded to them. Only bids that are accompanied by such bond in the envelope will be considered.

All bids must be submitted on the proposal blanks furnished by the City of Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Bids must be in the hands of the City Engineer no later 1:30 P.M., local time, 26th Day of October, 2023, and must be in a sealed envelope plainly marked "Bid on SP 126-105-008 (Broadway) Public Improvement No. 5327”
