Annual Road Ditch Weed Spraying
The Swift County Highway Department is requesting QUOTES for their Annual Road Ditch Weed Spraying until:
10:00 AM Friday August 5th, 2022
Swift County has designated approximately 148 miles of road to be sprayed throughout the Northwest portion of the County. This mileage (x2 ditches) would include 296 lane-miles of right-of-way to be sprayed with Curtail Herbicide for weed control. A map will be provided.
Quantities are figured on a per ROAD MILE basis, including both sides of the road, and unit price shall include all labor, time, mileage, and materials. Quantities are subject to revision as directed by the Engineer.
All spraying operations are to be completed during the 2022 fall season, after farm crops have turned, and first frost has occurred. Random inspections by Swift County personnel will be conducted.
