ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: NOTICE is hereby given that SEALED BIDS will be received by the Cook County Auditor at Cook County Courthouse, 411 West 2nd St. Grand Marais, MN, until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 for the following project:
STATE AID PROJECT NO.: SAP 016-612-078
LOCATION OF SAP: On CSAH 12 from North of Island Road to 2,300' Southeast of County Road 81.
TYPE OF WORK: Rehabilitation with geogrid soil stabilization and roadway resurfacing.
LENGTH: 375 ft
The major items of work are listed as follows:
Remove bituminous pavement = 1,000 SY
Soil stabilization geogrid = 1,044 SY
Aggregate surfacing (CV) class 1 = 9 CY
Aggregate base (CV) class 5 = 174 CY
Type SP 9.5 wearing course mixture (3,C) = 226 TON

Bids must be sealed, identified on the envelope and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total bid made payable to the Treasurer of Cook County.

Bidders are encouraged to mail bids via certified mail during the COVID-19 outbreak.
