ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: NOTICE is hereby given that SEALED BIDS will be received by the Cook County Auditor at Cook County Courthouse, 411 West 2nd St. Grand Marais, MN, until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 for the following project:
STATE AID PROJECT NO.: SAP 016-612-077
LOCATION OF SAP: On CSAH 12 49.8 miles west of junction of trunk highway 61 over Larch Creek, 34.6 miles northwest of Grand Marais, MN
TYPE OF WORK: Bridge culvert replacement and approach grading
LENGTH: 400 ft
The major items of work are listed as follows:
One lane bypass = 1 LUMP SUM
Temporary stream diversion system = 1 LUMP SUM
10x10 precast concrete box culvert (Class 2 and 3) = 78 LIN. FT. combined
Granular backfill (CV) = 390 CU. YD.
Coarse aggregate bedding (CV) = 232 CU. YD.

Bids must be sealed, identified on the envelope and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total bid made payable to the Treasurer of Cook County.
The public bid opening will be streamed live on Cook County, Minnesota's YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/CookCountyMN/live. Bidders are encouraged to mail bids via certified mail during the COVID-19 outbreak. Cook County requires those personally delivering bids or personally attending the bid opening wear a face covering and to conform with social distancing requirements.
