NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS - Sealed proposals will be received until:
BIDS CLOSE 1:00 PM Wednesday April 29th 2020
Delivery of sealed bids must be made to the Swift County Highway Department Administration Building, 1635 Hoban Avenue (PO Box 241), Benson, MN 56215.
Sealed bids will be opened and publicly read at the above date/time/location.
Proposal with specifications may be obtained at the office of the Swift County Engineer at the Swift County Highway Department Administration Building, 1635 Hoban Avenue, Benson, MN 56215. Cost for these documents is $42.75 ($40.00 plus $2.75 MN sales tax). Electronic versions are not available. Upon payment, documents can be mailed, per request.
Minimum wage rates to be paid by the contractor have been predetermined. Read carefully the wage scales contained in the Special Provisions, as they affect this project. Attention is called to the fact that the contractor must comply with the Special Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, contained in the proposal. Electronic bids and fax bids will not be accepted.
A bid bond, cashiers check or certified check made payable to the Treasurer of Swift County in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany all bids. The County Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or technicalities therein and to award the contract in the best interest of the County.
