MCLEOD COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

SP 043-608-013, SP 065-620-012 and SP 065-636-001, Full-Depth Reclamation & Bituminous Paving – Tuesday, June 11, 2019, 1:00 PM

Notice is hereby given that electronic bids will be received until 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Office of the McLeod County Public Works for the projects listed below. Bids shall be submitted electronically through BidVAULT.

SP 043-608-013, SP 065-620-012 and SP 065-636-001, Full-Depth Reclamation & Bituminous Paving – Bituminous Pavement Milling, Bituminous Pavement Reclamation & Bituminous Paving located on McLeod CSAH 8 from Zane Ave to 3,500’ West of CSAH 115, Renville County CSAH 20 from CSAH 11 to CSAH 36 and Renville County CSAH 36 from CSAH 20 to Zane Ave.

Estimated Major Quantities are: 70,000 SY Bituminous Pavement Milling, 74,000 SY Bituminous Pavement Reclamation, 11,600 TON Bituminous Non-Wearing Course, and 8,500 TON Bituminous Wearing Course.

A minimum goal of 3.7 % Good Faith Effort to be subcontracted to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.

Paper plans/proposals may be examined at the McLeod County Public Works. ***

Paper plans/proposals may be purchased from the McLeod County Public Works for a fee of $150. Make checks payable to McLeod County Treasurer and send payment to McLeod Public Works, Attention: Plan Request, 1400 Adams Street SE, Hutchinson, MN 55350. ***

*** ONLY REGISTERED PLANHOLDERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO BID ON PROJECTS. (1)

(1) In order to be a registered planholder you must purchase a paper plan/proposal set OR sign in to the eGram website and download the appropriate bid documents.

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidders bond, payable to McLeod County Treasurer for at least 5 percent of the amount bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or technicalities.

The McLeod County Board of Commissioners hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for award.

The County Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
