NOTICE TO BIDDERS

2019 County Wide Seal Coat Project
Project No. S.A.P. 056-601-066 & Etc.

Sealed bids will be received until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 by the County Auditor of Otter Tail County for Project No. SAP 056-601-066 & Etc.; County Wide Seal Coat. Mailed or hand carried bids should be delivered to the County Auditor of Otter Tail County, 510 Fir Avenue West, Fergus Falls, Minnesota 56537. Online bids should be submitted through Otter Tail County's online bidding system (eGram).

The project consists of the following approximate quantities:

Street Sweeper 85 Hours
Furnish and Apply 454 Gallons of Bituminous Fog Seal
Furnish and Apply 838,700 Sq Yd of Bituminous Seal Coat
Traffic Control 12 Lump Sum
Furnish and Apply 2,803 Each Raised Pavement Marker Temporary
Furnish and Apply 660,296 Lin Ft of Traffic Paint
Furnish and Apply 390 Lin Ft 24” Solid Line Preformed Tape Ground In
Furnish and Apply 928.36 Sq Ft Pavement Message Preformed Tape Ground In
Furnish and Apply 1,260 Sq Ft Crosswalk Preformed Tape Ground In

Approximate Project Length = 46.138 Miles

Minimum Wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581 and implementing regulations.

Bids will be opened and read publicly by the Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners or their designated representative, immediately after the hour set for receiving bids in the Otter Tail Lake Room at the Otter Tail County Government Services Center, 500-600 Fir Avenue West, Fergus Falls Minnesota.

Physical copies of the proposal including plans may be examined and/or secured at the Office of the Otter Tail County Engineer, 505 South Court Street, Fergus Falls, MN 56537. Cost of physical copies of proposal including plans is $50.00 (Non-refundable). Digital copies of the documents may be downloaded for no cost at https://egram.co.ottertail.mn.us. To proceed you must click on "Projects in Bidding" and select SAP 056-601-066 & Etc. A link to the website can also be found on the Highway Department webpage along with instructions.

To submit a bid online you must be a registered plan holder, you can create an account at https://connex.mn.uccs.com.

Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond or certified check made payable to the County Treasurer, Otter Tail County, for at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the Proposal. Sealed bids shall be clearly marked "2019 Seal Coat Project."

The County Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, portions, thereof, and to waive informalities.
