ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS-
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM on Monday, April 29, 2019, at the office of the Aitkin County Highway Department - 1211 Air Park Drive, Aitkin, MN, for the construction projects listed below. Proposals will be opened and read publicly at the Office of the County Engineer immediately after the hours set for receiving bids.

LOCATION: Various County Pits

TYPE OF WORK: Aggregate Crushing

Approximate major items of work are:

STOCKPILE AGGREGATE CLASS 6 MOD - SITE A, TON 30000; STOCKPILE AGGREGATE CLASS 5 MOD - SITE B, TON 15000; STOCKPILE AGGREGATE CLASS 5 MOD - SITE C, TON 25000; STOCKPILE AGGREGATE CLASS 5 MOD - SITE C, TON 14000;

Proposals and specifications may be examined at or requested from the Office of the County Engineer located at 1211 Air Park Drive, Aitkin, Minnesota 56431, (218) 927-3741. These documents are also available for viewing at www.co.aitkin.mn.us by following the Highway Construction link.

Proposals must be on forms furnished by the County Highway Engineer. Proposals must be sealed, identified on the envelope, and each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check made payables to the Aitkin County Treasurer in an amount equal to at least five (5) percent of the total bid amount.

Aitkin County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities thereof.
