CITY IMPROVEMENTS NO. 17-06, 17-07, and 18-05
SAP 108-119-006 (Improvement 17-06) – NE H Street Reconstruction and Sidewalk Improvements – Mill Avenue to 13th Avenue NE and 1st Avenue NE to 3rd Avenue NE respectively, tied to;
Improvement 17-07 – 10th Avenue NE Reconstruction – Washington Street to NE J Street, tied to;
Improvement 18-05 – Sidewalk Improvements – 1st Avenue NE from Evergreen Avenue to NE H Street

Notice is hereby given that bids will be received, opened, and read aloud in the presence of the City Administrator and the City Engineer in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in the City of Brainerd, Minnesota, on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. CDT for the construction of the following described State Aid and local improvements in accordance with the Plans and Specifications for the same which on file in the office of the City Engineer of said City.

SAP 108-119-006 (Improvement 17-06) – NE H Street Reconstruction and Sidewalk Improvements – Mill Avenue to 13th Avenue NE and 1st Avenue NE to 3rd Avenue NE respectively, tied to;
Improvement 17-07 – 10th Avenue NE Reconstruction – Washington Street to NE J Street, tied to;
Improvement 18-05 – Sidewalk Improvements – 1st Avenue NE - Evergreen Avenue to NE H Street

All bids shall be submitted electronically through the City of Brainerd’s BidVAULT website, and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier’s check, bid bond or certified check of at least five (5) percent of the amount of bid made payable to the City of Brainerd, which amount will be forfeited to the City of Brainerd as liquidated damages if the bidder, upon letting the contract to him, shall fail to enter into the contract let so.
Plans and specifications may be examined at the Office of the City Engineer, 501 Laurel Street, Brainerd, MN 56401 or at https://egram.ci.brainerd.mn.us.
All proposals must be submitted electronically through the City of Brainerd’s BidVAULT website. Bidding on the project costs $25.00 plus applicable taxes and fees.

All bids will be referred to the City Engineer for tabulation and then referred to the City Council for action at a Council meeting to be held on Monday, May 6, 2019.
The City of Brainerd reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interest of the City.
No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
