Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Red Lake County Auditor at the Auditor's office in the Red Lake County Courthouse, 124 Langevin Avenue, PO Box 367, Red Lake Falls, MN 56750 until 10:00 a.m. on the 14th day of August, 2018 for Project S.A.P. 063-610-008. Proposals will be opened and read publicly in the Commissioners' Room immediately after the hour set for receiving bids.

Project Length: 8.0 Miles

Project Major Items Consists of: Type SP 9.5 Wearing Course Mixture (2,B) = 19,274 Tons, Mill Bituminous Surface (1.0") = 59,586 S.Y., Aggregate Surfacing Class 1 = 3,914 Tons, Milled Rumble Strips = 77,747 L.F., Aggregate Base Class 5 = 267 Tons, Geotextile Fabric Type 5 = 267 S.Y.

Contractors who wish to bid can pick up plans and proposals at the Red Lake County shop in Red Lake Falls (204 7th Street SE Red Lake Falls, MN 56750). A $20.00 fee will be charged for each plan and proposal set requested.

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the Red Lake County Treasurer. The successful bidder must furnish a payment bond equal to the contract amount and a performance bond equal to the contract amount, with the entire liability of the bond (s) equal to twice the full amount of the contract.

The Red Lake County Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities.
