SECTION 00030 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Dalton, Minnesota by mailing to PO Box 538, Dalton, MN 56324-0538 or by hand delivery to Dalton City Hall at 107 Main Street West prior to 10:30 a.m. on March 28, 2018. After that time bids will be received by hand delivery to the bid opening at the Dalton Community Center at 114 Main Street West, Dalton, Minnesota until 11:00 a.m., March 28, 2018, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for furnishing all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the construction of:

2018 Utility and Street Improvements
Sanitary Sewer, Water Distribution, and Waste Water Treatment

S.A.P. 056-612-012 (CSAH 12 - Main Street)
S.A.P. 056-635-034 (CSAH 35- Central Avenue)

The Contract Documents are on file and may be examined at the following locations:

Ulteig Engineers, Inc., Detroit Lakes, Minnesota

The Bidding Documents are available for download from the QuestCDN.com website for $40.00 (QuestCDN Project #4868022). Bidders may also obtain hard copies of the Bidding Documents from the issuing office of Ulteig Engineers, Inc., 1345 Highway 10 West, Suite A, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota 56501 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $300.00

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.

All questions regarding the bidding documents shall be directed to the Project Engineer: Brian Hiles at 320-289-5257 or by e-mail at brian.hiles@ulteig.com. All questions must be received in writing or by e-mail on or before 5 days prior to the bid opening. Responses to technical questions will be issued by addendum within 2 days prior to the bid opening.
