NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS-
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners, Brown County; New Ulm, MN will accept sealed bids, at the Office of the County Administrator, in the Brown County Courthouse, New Ulm, MN. until 10:00 a.m. on the 21st day of February, 2018, for the following project(s):
? S.A.P. 008-606-006 Bituminous Surfacing, Cold Inplace Recycling, Bituminous Overlay and Aggregate Shoulders on CSAH 6 located between Watonwan County CSAH 27 and ¼ mile east of Brown County CSAH 13.
? S.A.P. 008-611-025 Cold Inplace Recycling, Bituminous Overlay and Aggregate Shoulders on CSAH 11 located between CSAH 20 and CSAH 22.
? S.A.P. 008-613-029 Bituminous Surfacing, Cold Inplace Recycling, Bituminous Overlay and Aggregate Shoulders on CSAH 13 located between CSAH 6 and CSAH 20.
? S.A.P. 008-620-031 Cold Inplace Recycling, Bituminous Overlay and Aggregate Shoulders on CSAH 20 located between CSAH 10 and CSAH 13.
Major quantities include: 28,900 Tons Aggregate Shoulder Class 1; 51,050 S.Y. Mill Bituminous Surface; 150,515 L.F. Mill Rumble Strips; 248,940 S.Y. Cold Inplace Recycle; 1,613 Tons Bituminous Material For Mixture CIR-EE; 32,435 Gal. Bituminous Material for Tack Coat; 54,715 Tons Wearing Course Mixture; 1,600 Tons Nonwear Course Mixture; 3,000 Tons Bituminous Mix Production; 3 L.S. Traffic Control; and 232,630 L.F. 4 Inch Striping. Plans and proposal price is $50.00 nonrefundable for all the projects combined.
Plan, proposal and specifications can be examined and obtained from the Brown County Highway Department, 1901 N. Jefferson St., New Ulm, MN. 56073, ph#507-233-5700. A check, draft or money order in the amount listed above, and payable to the Brown County Treasurer must accompany requests for plans and proposals.
A bidder?s bond or a certified check payable to the Treasurer of Brown County in the amount of at least 5% of the total amount bid must be included.
Brown County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
