Proposals will be opened and read publicly in the presence of the Rock County Highway Engineer at the Rock County Highway Building located at ll20 North Blue Mound Avenue in Luverne, MN immediately following the hour set for receiving bids for the following Rock County Highway work. Bids will be awarded on Tuesday, August 22ND, 2017, at the regular Board of Commissioners Meeting.

Type of Work: The construction of the Luverne Loop Bike Trail (Phase II). This project is located within the city limits of Luverne, Minnesota.

The major items of work are: 2,650 Cu. Yds. Common Excavation; 1,200 Cu. Yds. Common Borrow; 8,477 Lin. Ft. Sub-grade Preparation; 11,303 Sq. Yds. Aggregate Base (Class 5); 1,345 Tons Bituminous Wear Course Mixture; 200 Lin. Ft. 18" R.C. Pipe Culvert; 60 Lin. Ft. 48" R.C. Pipe Culvert; 17,343 Sq. Ft. 5' Concrete Walk; 3,390 Sq. Ft. 6' Concrete Walk and 2,157 Sq. ft. 8' Concrete Walk.

The non-refundable cost for plans and one proposal will be $30.00.

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or corporate surety bond drawn in favor of the Rock County Treasurer in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the proposal.
