Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Waseca, Minnesota, in the City Hall at 508 South State Street, until 10 A.M., CDT, Friday, May 5, 2017, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The successful bidder must be a "responsible contractor." The term "responsible contractor" means a contractor as defined in Minnesota Statutes Section 16C.285, subdivision 3.
Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
MNDOT and the City of Waseca will hold a Pre-Letting Conference to discuss any questions regarding this Contract. The Department and City encourages all interested parties to attend. The meeting will start at 10:00 AM on April 26, 2017. The meeting location is the MNDOT District Headquarters at 2151 Bassett Drive, Mankato, MN 56001.
Minimum wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581 and implementing regulations.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation hereby notifies all bidders:
