NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed electronic bids for Isanti County Contract 2303 will be received by the Board of Commissioners of Isanti County, Minnesota, until 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 06, 2023, through QuestCDN vBID™.
Plan and Proposal may be viewed and purchased through the Isanti County QuestCDN vBid™ portal located on the County website: https://www.co.isanti.mn.us/799/Advertisement-for-Bids & follow the Complete digital contract bidding documents “link”.

At that time, the bids will be electronically opened and read publicly at the Isanti County Highway Department building located at 232 Emerson St North, Cambridge, MN 55008. The as-read on-line bid results will be available at www.questcdn.com following the bid opening.
Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at www.questcdn.com. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the website for a nonrefundable fee of $30 by inputting Quest project number Quest # 8317867 on the website’s Project Search page. Bidders are also required to pay a $45 online bidding fee. CSAH 5 Reconstruction

Type of Work: Shoulder Widening, Reclamation, Aggregate Base, Plant Mixed Asphalt Pavement, Shoulders and Pavement Marking

Project is on CSAH 5 between TH 47 and CSAH 10 and is 4.033 miles long; located 1.0 miles north & 0.5 miles west of Isanti, MN.

The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids of Isanti County shall comply with the provisions of the statute.

All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder’s Bond, Certified Check or a Corporate Surety Bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the total bid made payable to the Isanti County Treasurer. If the bidder, upon the letting of the contract to them, shall fail to enter into the contract, as let, the amount of such bidder's bond shall be forfeited to the County.

The Isanti County Board of Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities therein, and further reserve the right to award the contract to serve the best interest of the County.

A minimum goal of 5.0 % Good Faith Effort to be subcontracted to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.
