NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS ~ SEALED ELECTRONIC BIDS will be received until 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 21, 2022, by Mahnomen County via Mahnomen County BidVAULT for the purpose of letting a contract for the construction of the following County Highway Improvement Project:

STATE AID PROJECT: 044-617-006
Location: On CSAH 17 between T.H. 113 & T.H 59
Length: 1.002 miles
Type of Work: Grading, Bituminous Surfacing, & ADA Improvements

The major quantities of work are:
2106.507 EXCAVATION- COMMON (P) 15,244 CY, 2211.507 AGGREGATE BASE (CV) CLASS 5 (P) 8,167 CY, 2360.509 TYPE SP 9.5 WEARING COURSE MIX (2;B) 2,142 TON, 2360.509 TYPE SP 12.5 WEARING COURSE MIX (2;B) 5,173 TON, 2503.503 28” SPAN RC PIPE-ARCH SEWER CLASS IVA 963 LF, 2531.503 CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER DESIGN B624 6,876 LF.

SEALED ELECTRONIC BIDS will be opened and read aloud publicly immediately after the hour set for receiving bids at the Mahnomen County Highway Department Offices.
Plans, Proposals and Specifications may be examined and/or secured at the Mahnomen County BidVAULT site at the below listed link.

Plans, Proposals and Specifications may also be examined and/or secured at the office of the Mahnomen County Engineer; 1440 Mn Hwy 200; P.O. Box 399; Mahnomen, Minnesota 56557. Cost for Plans and Proposals at the counter price - $20; mailed - $25 (delivery & tax included). Check, draft, or money order for the purchase of plans and proposals should be made payable to the Mahnomen County Highway Department (non-refundable).

Electronic Bids must be accompanied by a Bidders Bond or a Certified Check made payable to the Mahnomen County Treasurer in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the total bid proposal.

The Mahnomen County Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or technicalities therein, and to accept the bid proposal deemed most advantageous to Mahnomen County.
