AGGREGATE STOCKPILE
CP 21-01


Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Commissioners of Cook County, Minnesota, at the office of the County Auditor/Treasurer, Courthouse, 411 W. 2nd Street, Grand Marais, MN 55604 until 2:00 p.m. April 21, 2021, for the crushing and stockpiling of aggregate in two gravel pits for a total quantity as follows:

Aggregate Stockpile – Class 1 16,000 CY

As an alternative, proposals and specifications may be examined and secured at the office of the County Highway Engineer, County Highway Building, 609 East 4th Ave., Grand Marais, MN 55604. Any addendums will be issued through the online One Office platform and must be included in the bid package.

A bid bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Cook County Auditor/Treasurer in an amount of five (5) percent of the bid must accompany all bids.

The County Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or technicalities therein and to award the contract in the manner deemed in the best interest of the County.

The bidder shall submit a sealed envelope identified on the front of the envelope as “CP 21-01 Aggregate Stockpile Bid Enclosed,” with the name and address of the bidder plainly visible.

The public bid opening will be streamed live on Cook County, Minnesota’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/CookCountyMN/live. Bidders are encouraged to mail bids via certified mail during the COVID-19 outbreak. Cook County requires those personally delivering bids to wear a face covering and to conform with social distancing requirements.
