Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Engineer, 1700 W 98th St, Bloomington, MN 55431, up to the time of bid opening, for construction of the:
2018-201 East Bloomington Freeway Improvement Project

Federal Aid Project
Which consists of:
1. Approximately 5,800 cubic yards of common excavation,
2. Approximately 2,700 tons of bituminous plant mixture,
3. Approximately 2,500 cubic yards of Class 5 aggregate base,
4. Approximately 9,400 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter,
5. Approximately 4,200 square feet of 4” – 8” concrete walk,
6. Approximately 800 linear feet of 12” – 33” storm sewer,
7. Approximately 1,180 linear feet of 6” – 8” water main ,
8. Approximately 4,900 linear feet of pavement markings,
9. Approximately 16,500 square yards of sodding/seeding,
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Bloomington Public Works Training Room at
1700 W. 98th St at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2020. WebEx or other electronic conferencing may be used in the event that the Bloomington Public Works Building is closed to the public due to public health concerns related to COVID-19.
Plans, Specifications, and Proposal forms are on file and are available from the office of the City Engineer, 1700 West 98th Street, Bloomington, MN 55431, upon non-refundable deposit of a $75. Minimum wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581 and implementing regulations.
