Notice is hereby given that request for quotes will be received by the Traverse County Engineer at the Office of the Highway Department, 708 3rd Ave. No. (mailing address, P.O. Box 485) Wheaton, Minnesota 56296, telephone (320) 563-4848 or by email chad.gillespie@co.traverse.mn.us, until 3:00 PM on June 25th, 2020 for the following:


PROJECT NO: TRAVERSE COUNTY PROJECT NO. CP 20-02

LOCATION: CSAH 9 From CSAH 16 to North County Line

TYPE OF WORK: Supply, Deliver and Spread Class V Gravel to the following:
CSAH 9; 4,900 Tons on 7 Miles


Specifications and plans may be examined and secured at the Office of the County Highway Engineer, 708 3rd Ave. No. (mailing address, PO Box 485), Wheaton, MN 56296, telephone (320)563-4848. Requests for plans, proposal, and specifications can be made in-person, by mail, by phone, or by email (chad.gillespie@co.traverse.mn.us)

The right is reserved to reject any or all quotes or parts of quotes and waive informalities herein.

All quotes must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bidders bond, payable to the Traverse County Treasurer for at least 5% of the proposal, said check or bond to be forfeited to the County if an award is made to a bidder and he fails to execute a contract covering the same. No bidder may withdraw his bid (which includes a certified check, cashier’s check or bidders bond) within 15 days after the scheduled closing of the receipt of bids.
