NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS-
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners, Brown County; New Ulm, MN will accept sealed bids, at the Office of the County Administrator, in the Brown County Courthouse, New Ulm, MN. until 10:00 a.m. on the 29th day of April, 2020, for the following project(s):

• S.A.P. 148-020-004 & S.A.P. 008-613-031 Bituminous Mill & Overlay, Traffic Signal and ADA Improvements on CSAH 13 (Center Street in New Ulm) located between TH 14 (Broadway) and Camels Back Road.

Major quantities include: 1915 LF Remove Curb & Gutter; 2827 LF Sawing Bituminous Pavement; 12,988 SF Remove Concrete Walk; 8441 SF Remove Bituminous Pavement; 805 Ton Aggregate Base Class 5; 29,967 S.Y. Mill Bituminous Surface; 3735 Tons Wearing Course Mixture; 137 Tons Non-wear Course Mixture; 34 Each Adjust Frame & Ring Casting; 13,126 SF Concrete Walk; 1915 LF Concrete Curb & Gutter; 891.8 SF Truncated Domes; 1 L.S. Traffic Control; 1 System Traffic Control Signal System; 2133 SY Site Restoration and 12,414 L.F. 4 Inch Striping. Plans and proposal price is $50.00 nonrefundable.
Plan, proposal and specifications can be examined and obtained from the Brown County Highway Department, 1901 N. Jefferson St., New Ulm, MN. 56073, ph#507-233-5700. A check, draft or money order in the amount listed above, and payable to the Brown County Treasurer must accompany requests for plan and proposal.
A bidder’s bond or a certified check payable to the Treasurer of Brown County in the amount of at least 5% of the total amount bid must be included.

Brown County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
