Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Alexandria City Council, at the Alexandria City Hall, 704 Broadway Street, Alexandria, Minnesota, until 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 30th at which time all bids will be opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all materials, skill, labor, and all else necessary for the 44th Avenue Extension, S.A.P. 102-148-001 project in Alexandria, MN.

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bidder's bond acceptable to the Alexandria City Council in an amount of at least five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid, payable without condition to the Alexandria City Council. If the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract or to give bond as required by law within the specified number of days after the award of the contract; certified check or bidder's bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages.
