ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS – NOTICE is hereby given that SEALED BIDS will be received by the Cook County Auditor at Cook County Courthouse, 411 West 2nd St. Grand Marais, MN, until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 for the following project:

STATE AID PROJECT NO.: SAP 016-601-014

LOCATION OF SAP: On CSAH 1 0.4 miles East of Jct. C.R. 30.

TYPE OF WORK:
Bridge Culvert Replacement and Approach Grading.

LENGTH: 400 ft

The major items of work are listed as follows:
• Remove Existing Bridge = Lump Sum
• Temporary Stream Diversion = Lump Sum
• One Lane Bypass = Lump sum
• PreCast Box Culverts W/End Sections = 2 total
• Common Excavation = 459 C.Y. (P)
• Aggregate Base Class 5 = 390 C.Y. (P)
• Aggregate Surface Class 1 = 165 C.Y. (P)

Bids must be sealed, identified on the envelope and accompanied by a Bidder’s Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total bid made payable to the Treasurer of Cook County.
