NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS-
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners, Brown County; New Ulm, MN will accept sealed bids, at the Office of the County Administrator, in the Brown County Courthouse, New Ulm, MN. until 10:00 a.m. on the 5th day of December, 2018, for the following project(s):
S.A.P. 008-629-023 Concrete Overlay and Aggregate Shoulders on CSAH 29 located between TH 4 and CSAH 12.
Major quantities include: 1 L.S. Construction Surveying; 1 L.S. Mobilization; 22,000 Tons Aggregate Shoulder Class 1; 7350 S.Y. Full Depth Reclamation; 168,300 S.Y. Mill Bituminous Surface; 47,800 L.F. Milled Rumble Strips (Concrete); 188,000 S.Y. Place Concrete Pavement 6 Inches; 35,500 C.Y. Structural Concrete; 3000 Ton Wearing Course Mixture; 1 L.S. Traffic Control; and 128,100 L.F. 4 Inch Striping (Epoxy) Ground In. Plans and proposal price is $30.00 nonrefundable.
Plan, proposal and specifications can be examined and obtained from the Brown County Highway Department, 1901 N. Jefferson St., New Ulm, MN. 56073, ph#507-233-5700. A check, draft or money order in the amount listed above, and payable to the Brown County Treasurer must accompany requests for plans and proposals.
A bidders bond or a certified check payable to the Treasurer of Brown County in the amount of at least 5% of the total amount bid must be included.
Brown County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
