Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received until 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Office of the McLeod County Public Works, 1400 Adams Street SE, Hutchinson, MN 55350, McLeod County, for the project(s) listed below:

2018 Fairgrounds Show Arena Addition
This project includes material and labor for a 108' x 86' post frame addition to the existing post frame Show Arena for seasonal use.

Separate quotes/bids will be received for a dry sprinkler system. McLeod County will provide all required site work, soil corrections and granular material (placement and compaction to grade), water service to the building, and (1) 16'x18' bi-fold door as shown on plans and all required electrical work.

Paper plans/proposals may be examined at the offices of McLeod County Fairgrounds or McLeod County Public Works. ***

Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier?s check, or bidders bond, payable to McLeod County Treasurer for at least 5 percent of the amount bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or technicalities. The County Board of Commissioners hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for award.
