NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS-
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners, Brown County; New Ulm, MN will accept sealed bids, at the Office of the County Administrator, in the Brown County Courthouse, New Ulm, MN. until 10:00 a.m. on the 30th day of May, 2018, for the following project(s):
? S.A.P. 008-604-008 Mill & Overlay Surfacing on CSAH 4 located between Central Street and TH 14 in Springfield.
? S.A.P. 008-605-017 Mill & Overlay Surfacing on CSAH 5 located between the Cottonwood River and TH 14.
Major quantities include: 10,050 S.Y. Mill Bituminous Surface (2 Inch), 660 Gal. Bituminous Material for Tack Coat, 1330 Tons Wearing Course Mixture, 5 L.F. Construct Drainage Structure Design H, 50 S.F. 4 Inch Concrete Walk, 215 L.F. Concrete Curb & Gutter Design B618, 8 S.F. Pedestrian Curb Ramp (Truncated Dome), 2 L.S. Traffic Control, and 6280 L.F. 4 Inch Striping, 60 L.F. 24 Inch Solid Line White Preform Tape Ground In, 240 S.F. Pavement Message Preform Tape Ground In. Plans and proposal price is $25.00 nonrefundable for all the projects combined.
Plan, proposal and specifications can be examined and obtained from the Brown County Highway Department, 1901 N. Jefferson St., New Ulm, MN. 56073, ph#507-233-5700. A check, draft or money order in the amount listed above, and payable to the Brown County Treasurer must accompany requests for plans and proposals.
A bidder?s bond or a certified check payable to the Treasurer of Brown County in the amount of at least 5% of the total amount bid must be included.


Brown County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
