NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: Koochiching County will be utilizing two options for the bidding process: (1) Electronic bids will be accepted by Koochiching County through the Koochiching County?s online electronic bid system (eGram) or (2) sealed proposals will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of Koochiching County, Int?l. Falls, Minnesota until Monday March 12, 2018, at 11:00 pm local time at the office of the County Auditor/Treasurer in the Koochiching County Courthouse 715 4th Street Int?l. Falls, Minnesota 56649 at which time they will be opened and read publicly for the following:

Project Designation: Bituminous Milling and Overlay, sap 036 643 009 tied to sap 036 644 002 and sap 036 649 006

Project Location:
CSAH 43, CSAH 44, CSAH 49 in Littlefork

Major Project Quantities include:
-- 8,541 Sq. Yds. Mill Bituminous Surface
-- 2,025 Tons Type SP 9.5, Wearing Course Mixture (2,B)

Project Completion Date: All work required under this Contract, shall be completed prior to July 31, 2018, unless modified by the Engineer with a written Contract Extension.

Paper documents are also available for viewing weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Koochiching County Highway Department, 715 4th Street, Int?l Falls, MN 56649

ONLY REGISTERED PLANHOLDERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO BID ON PROJECTS
To become a registered plan holder, you must go to https://egram.co.koochiching.mn.us and create an account.

All bids, whether submitted electronically or on paper, must be accompanied by a certified check or a corporate surety bond payable to the Treasurer of Koochiching County in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid.

Bid shall be plainly marked on the exterior of the containing envelope: ?2018 Littlefork Bituminous Milling and Overlay, SAP 036 643 009 tied to SAP 036-644-002 and SAP 036 649 006, Letting Date, Monday March 12, 2018 at 11:00 am

The Koochiching County Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the contract in the best interests of Koochiching County.
